VMKMagic would like to wish all of its users a very happy 4th of July! The 4th of July, also known as Independence Day, is traditionally a day set aside in the Unites States of America for the remembrance of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence which set America free from Great Britain. This holiday is most commonly associated with fireworks, cookouts, and good old fashioned fun. To commemorate the occasion, VMKMagic will be giving out the Independence Day award to everybody who signs onto VMKMagic on July 4th, 2009. Here is a picture of the award:

It's the summer season here at VMKMagic, and all of us staff members have some fantastic plans for the summer! Let's take for example HyperFan, who is going to be heading out to Oklahoma later this summer. There is also RuBelleBeauty, who intends to take a relaxing trip to the beach. prettyangel is going to visit some family in Massachusetts, HollywoodGirl is going to Sea World, dazzlej is going to catching up on some much needed sleep, the list is endless. What we really want to know is what you are doing this summer!

You could go to the beach, go visit some family, take a vacation to a new place, watch some movies late at night, go out for breakfast to a fancy restaurant, go clothes shopping and spend way more than you would on an average trip, go on a nature walk, visit some long lost friends, or you could sit on the couch. The list goes on and on. I know what we're doing this summer on VMKMagic, and it's going to be a lot of fun. The surprises and thrills on VMKMagic are for the future though.

The pirates have come and gone, and needless to say, they left a mess. We apologize for any spare bags of loot, cannon balls, utensils, etc. that they may have left around. Our forum janitors are currently on the run cleaning up. That's not the point of this thread though. We are officially declaring July 2009 "Fun In The Sun" month here at VMKMagic!

The large majority of you are currently basking in the sun (or sitting inside on your couches), staying up and sleeping in late, and spending every living moment of your day out of school! What has been described is the summer life, and we're about to bring that summer life onto VMKMagic. This month is packed full of more fun, excitement, and more joy than those pirates could ever have hoped to bring you. If you have any suggestions regarding what we should do this month, please make them known. This months plans may have already been made, but there's no reason they can't be shifted around a little.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer, and we hope that we can make it all the better!
